SafeBite helps you look up foods and drinks against allergens, gout triggers, and ingredients you want to avoid, using data from Open Food Facts and other sources. It's a convenience tool, not a certified allergen database, and not medical advice.

For severe or life-threatening allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, etc.): product formulas change, labels get misread, and databases have gaps or errors. Never rely on this app alone for anything that could be dangerous. Always double-check the actual product label yourself before eating, and talk to a doctor or allergist about anything you're unsure of.

Check anything that applies to you. Matching results stay visible but get a clear warning banner if they contain it, or may contain it (cross-contact warnings). Nothing gets hidden, so you can still make the call yourself.

🩸 Gout Management

Gout isn't a true allergy. It's driven by uric acid, which purines raise directly and some ingredients (like high-fructose corn syrup and alcohol) raise through separate mechanisms. Both are handled here.
